ahh Krista another superb piece, your eye for design is amazing. The way you over lay the 2d and the 3d a spects, and that mosutache. Well we have cricketers in Oz with moustaches like that. I bet you start a trend for chefs though π
Lovely illustration, Krista! Chef Shiitake!! Wonderful name!! Great pose as well..your work is always so delightful to me. I just have to say, your Double illustration of your beloved Samoyeds was awesome!! I really like that loose watercolor feel to it and they capture the sweetness of your pups..I’m happy that they had such happy lives..though lots of destruction, huh?! Wow!
Many thanks to you for your super duper awesome words..I am so grateful to have come to know you via the blogworld..you have been so awesome and so encouraging! Thank you so much, Krista it means a lot!!
This is funny! Lovely piece. It reminds me of the white bean and kale soup I made for a dinner party a couple weeks ago–when one of the guests encountered a snail. I had picked each piece of kale myself, and soaked them all in a big bowl of water, but I guess it was a tenacious snail.
I love the rich colors in this, and all the great stuff that’s going on in it.
Thank Goodness! Girl that mushroom almost did me in. I knew something was off in his soup he he hehe he he!!! This is so clever and wonderful. I just love your tasty illustrations. This is wonderful.
Oho! That is one amazing mustache, Krista! Although I love the whole piece: veggies, salt, pepper and all, that mustache is definitely the main center piece!! π π π Great work!
Ah cool, I’ve always liked illustrations of chefs. Might be the funny hats or just all the food π
Great work! With all those coffee and tea cups you make, no wonder you’re so good at making wispy strands of smoke π
Great Illo!!!
