“Linked” is really too delicate of a word
Juneteenth is the celebration of the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas on June 19, 1865.  Officially, the chains of slavery were broken, but word sometimes travels slowly, especially if the news does not benefit the messenger, and many slaves did not hear about their emancipation until later.  The name “Juneteenth” alludes to this.
This is the “J” section of an alphabet of holidays and celebrations.  Some are official, and some not-so-much.
In keeping with the spirit of “linked”, here’s a link to the manufactured art.  And, interestingly, June 19th is also the day that the man-of-my-dreams and I got inextricably “linked”!
