My boys are off to Boy Scout camp for the week. And while normally I jump in jubilation at the idea of a whole week of solitude, I did feel a little like I might throw up this morning. Don’t worry, I’ll get over it! Where’s the ice cream?

Oh, I understand completely. But sometimes the break is good for the entire family… plus you will have lots of undisturbed creative time. 🙂
Aaaaawww. I know that feeling. I always think I want to be alone and free for a week or even a weekend but when my husband is out of town or my children are staying at friends’ I feel so lost and I can’t sleep because I miss them so much. This illustration is perfect for the sentiment. Have a great week nevertheless. I almost became a den mother one. Almost. I was a Girl Scout troop leader though. Come to think of it, I am STILL a Girl Scout – since I was 5. 🙂
😉 Enjoy your week!
