Wow, you have a gorgeous, gorgeous blog! These are incredible paintings. And I nearly fell off my chair when you said some of these were two inches tall! The detail is amazing! Truly wonderful work. I really love your teacups and teapots, too. I have a thing for teacups. Great work!
talk about about captured moments!! OMG!!! These are just fabulous and wonderfully illustrated for sure! I love the mountain climber and the bears and everything. Great style you have indeed! You nailed this one to the WALL!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!
Krista – you make me SMILE with delight! Thank you so much for your lovely comments..I am thrilled to hear from you – as I so admire your work. Thank you very, very much, dear friend! : ) I’m so happy to hear of your having taken the time to look at the details…that’s awesome!! : )
Wow, these are just wonderful. I love the way you handle the brush (or whatever implement you’re using!)These are tight and loose at the same time, if that’s possible. Plus, the colors are so rich.
Hi Krista, thanks for your interest in my blog. I am very new to both blogging and Illustration and just love your work and your expression of faith, I am believer too! God Bless.
Hey Krista! Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment! I love this illustration, you are very talented… it really captures the feel of the topic!!
Wow, what a treat, Krista! And it’s neat to hear of the size of your pieces…such great detail at that size. I really, really like the designs of your pieces and your ability to create almost like a beautiful tapestry of images that are all executed so beautifully and then work well as one piece…great work!!
I love the woodsy textures & quilted composition of the first, & I’m a sucker for anything miniature– the sled team is especially striking with its narrow vertical format– almost totemic!
These are beautiful Krista. I haven’t even finished last weeks yet, much less thought of one for this week. 🙂 I really love the bear and the fish, his colors are wonderful.
Hey Krista! Wow you posted these up quick! You beat me :o) Oh my goodness, I LOVE that dog sled team! What a great perspective, and the dogs are enjoying themselves. Great expressions! Love the color tones that you put in your fish and your contrast is remarkable. Perfect for the theme. You are so talented!

Really nice work here. Thanks for your comments on my site. I love the way you arranged the elements.
The first image absolutely could be a beautiful roll of wrapping paper!
beautiful colors and design!
Thank you for the comment about my grandson and the prayers are greatly appreciated.
Wonderful style and imagery!
I like the warmth of the first, it has a quilt-like patch quality. Almost like it belongs in a comfortable den.
But regarding the last two.. how did you ever squeeze so much into such small pieces?! =D
